OLED 288 Hour Digital Voice Recorder
This feature packed digital voice recorder has all the traits of a device three times its price and although it isn’t discreet in appearance, it is still a fantastic high quality voice recorder. The device has been constructed in a tough black plastic casing and has a beautiful yellow and blue OLED crystal display. OLED means that unlike a normal LED display, this voice recorder uses thin layers of organic compounds resulting in a matrix of pixels that can emit light of different colours to give a much brighter, sharper image quality.
This digital voice recorder has very easy navigational buttons but one of its main advantages is that it can record within four seconds of being switched on. This is great if you wish to carry around the recorder to capture recordings on the fly without being too discreet about the recording device.
The unit takes standard AA batteries and will record continuously for 18 hours in high quality mode, picking up conversations over 15 – 20 feet away and storing the files in WAV format to its 1GB internal flash memory. In medium quality mode you can easily expect 28 hours of continuous recording and if connected to a PC will record for 288 hours. This means that you can leave the voice recorder on to record for a day without having to go back to it continuously.
This high quality digital voice recorder is equipped with an incredible voice activation feature. This means that when it detects sounds, the recording is activated and when no noise is detected, the device powers down. This fantastic feature means audio is only recorded as and when conversations are taking place which conserves battery power and extends the overall operating time, saving you the hassle of manually searching through hours of unwanted content.
You can easily playback the audio files you have saved to the digital voice recorder either directly through the in-built speaker or simply by connecting the digital voice recorder to your computer’s USB socket with the supplied data cable.
Other accessories with this high quality digital voice recorder include an external microphone if you do wish to discreetly record and a telephone recording kit which allows you to connect the digital voice recorder to a spare BT socket allowing you to record both sides of a telephone call. This would be a great tool to capture abusive phone calls for example.
An additional accessory which can be purchased separately is our mobile phone recording lead which simply plugs into the MIC socket of the digital voice recorder and the other end fits inside your ear. Whenever you wish to record incoming or outgoing calls from any landline or mobile phone, you just simply press the record button and both sides of the conversation will be captured without any interference.
